
Jim founded Shaheen Strategic Investments (SSI) in order to provide a vehicle for the Shaheen Family to grow and expand its holdings in a variety of businesses. Mr. Shaheen is currently the CEO and Board Member of New Season, a privately held Medication Assisted Treatment company serving over 33,000 patients in 90 locations across 20 states. Prior to SSI, Jim founded a national healthcare company called Strategic Behavioral Health. This was a chain of private psychiatric and substance abuse hospitals across the nation. Headquartered in Memphis, TN, the company grew from Denovo to 13 Hospitals in 8 states with revenues just under $200,000,000. With over 37 years of behavioral health experience, Jim has helped a variety of small and large companies grow and expand services in order to meet the demands of behavioral health services in many communities. Jim is the Chairman of the UT Health Science Center College of Medicine Board of Visitors. Jim also sits on the Jason Foundation Board of Directors, as well as the JC Runyon Foundation Board. Additionally, Jim sits on the Board of Directors of the National Association for Behavioral Healthcare's Education and Research Foundation. Jim holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Communications from Murray State University and an undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation also from Murray State University.
Niki is the Founder and President of the JC Runyon Foundation. (JCRF) WWW.JCRUNYONFOUNDATION.ORG This is a 501c3 charitable foundation named in her father's (John Charles Runyon) honor. The Foundation began in 2010 with a sole focus of providing college scholarships to students affected by behavioral health disorders. The JC Runyon Foundation has awarded numerous scholarships to students across the United States since its beginning and has distributed over $700,000 in tuition funds. Mrs. Shaheen is also an accomplished Author having published her first Novel called "Finding Kelly Albright". Prior to JCRF, Niki was an educator for 18 years specializing in both regular and gifted education. Niki holds a Masters Degree in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Memphis, a Gifted Education Endorsement from Western Kentucky University and a BS in Early Education from Murray State University.
JT is a seasoned entrepreneur and operator with a track record of scaling real-world businesses through disciplined leadership and applied technology. As a founding member and former President of Southern Roofing & Renovations, he helped grow the company from a local startup into one of the top 5 largest residential roofing platforms in the country, now operating in more than 23 markets nationwide.
Driven by a deep passion for home services and thoughtful technology design, JT went on to found JS Software Services, a development firm dedicated to solving complex operational challenges. In addition he founded ADB Technologies, a technology holding company focused on custom-built technology products for both niche and broad user applications.
He holds a certification in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT’s Executive Education program at the Sloan School of Management, equipping him to translate emerging technologies into practical business outcomes. In 2025, JT was honored by the Memphis Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 recipient, recognizing his contributions to business innovation and regional economic growth. Today he contributes as a member of Shaheen Strategic Investments, his family’s private investment fund. Lastly, JT was a founding member of the band "Savage After Midnight". This band has toured with the likes of Shinedown, Papa Roach, Asking Alexandria, and Memphis May Fire. JT originally studied to be a Music Engineer and received his degree from Sound Audio Engineering school (SAE) in Nashville , TN.
Jacob is the CEO of Falcon Behavioral Services based in Chattanooga, Falcon provides intensive behavioral services in the form of Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) headquartered out of Chattanooga, TN. Prior to Falcon, Jacob was the Director of Business Development for UltraGroup. He was instrumental in designing and implementing the company-wide referral development program in over 50 sites across the US. Prior to the UltrGroup, Jacob was the Director of Business Development for Carolina Dunes Behavioral Hospital in Wilmington, NC. He helped that facility grow it's inpatient and Outpatient services. His experience in behavioral health goes back even further with summer internships in several psychiatric hospitals learning Admissions/HR/Compliance/ Business Office. Jacob was awarded his BS in Healthcare Administration from Auburn University and has a Masters in Business Administration from UT Chattanooga.
